Executive Team - Christopher Garcia, Principal
Avidiant Consulting Group, LLC was founded in 2007 by Christopher Garcia. Today, Mr. Garcia maintains the role as Managing Principal of the firm. Mr. Garcia specializes in business performance improvement and profitability improvement, spanning both in the public and private sectors. The primary areas of Mr. Garcia’s focus include operations management, cost control/reduction, operations efficiencies, developing and streamlining systems, out-sourcing, development and evaluation of strategic business plans, and Sarbanes-Oxley processes.
Prior to forming Avidiant Consulting Group, LLC, Mr. Garcia was a Senior Manager at the Certified Public Accounting Firm of Montgomery Coscia Greilich, LLP and segued into the Manager role before his departure from the Certified Public Accounting Firm of Grant Thornton, LLP, where he spent most of his professional career in charge of public and private company audits. Mr. Garcia's enterprise public and private sector engagements have included companies such as Pervasive Software Inc., Masergy Global, SWS Group Inc., Access Pharmaceuticals Inc., Premier Organic Farms, Furmanite Inc. (formally Xanser Inc.), Westwood Holdings Inc., Beal Bank, Stream Energy Gas and Electric Ltd., and Rave Motion Pictures, where he served as an auditor and/or consultant. Mr. Garcia recently served as Interim Chief Financial Officer for General Datatech L.P. where he assisted in improving cash flow, streamlining processes, corrected inventory systems, and reorganized management structure of the Company.
Mr. Garcia earned is Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in finance and accounting at Texas Tech University. In addition, Mr. Garcia earned his Masters of Science (M.S.) in Accountancy and Information Management, and Masters of Business Administrations (M.B.A.) from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Mr. Garcia cultivated the direction, and proactive spirit of Avidiant Consulting Group, LLC by drawing from his expertise in the public accounting process and finance field. The commitment to provide paramount service is not only a company mission, but a personal one for its founder.
